Essa and Friends, Here is the Video You Asked For.

First off, this is not naming and shaming, Essa told me to post this. I repeat, Essa told me to post this.
So here is a video of said "bug" in action:
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=gcBIWFg9onw

list of times that the "bug" is successfully used:
1. 10 seconds in (guy has low hp already so it's hard to catch)
2. 17 seconds in (Pretty obvious)
3. 1:42 (As you can tell the player is stuck on the ground until the knockdown timer ends, then his character goes through the animation of getting up)
4. 1:48 (blatantly obvious, same as above)

Now, some people may say bull *** those people were out of stam, or bull *** those people need to L2P. I'm with you and if you do break free immediately after the javelin hits you the "bug" doesn't work(when I say immediately I literally mean it, fraction of a second late and you mine as well have been on your stamina depleted horse).

Oh and just for good measure, here is a short comment chain from this video:
OrGa1Yq.png?1
This is the equivalent of keep jumpers saying "If you don't stand on the edge of the wall it won't happen". ZOS permabanned people for that, this is no different.

See here's the thing, people can call me a snitch, tell me it's a learn to play issue or whatever. I have friends in the game that I play with, I don't care if a player who exploits, or defends the people using them, doesn't want to be my friend or talks *** to me. I don't try and pretend that I'm some great pvper or a 1vXer. When my friends aren't on I either gank or zergsurf. You can bet I've been 1vXed before. There are some pretty damn good players out there who know how to utilize the terrain and practise good target priority. One thing I have never done though is wrongfully accused anyone of cheating, exploiting, or just plain breaking the TOS. Neither through tells in the game, the report function or even on the forums. When I report someone to ZOS I give them evidence.

ZOS if you close this post all you are doing is supporting these players who think and act like they are untouchable, you are literally proving to them that they can continue doing whatever they want with zero repercussions. And to the players who defend exploiters and the like. Shame.

And before anyone asks, sure, I have no life.

Edit: Before this gets closed for naming and shaming. Here is essa telling me to make this post(idk how to make my own video, so I had to use his, all credit goes to him)

Damn you edited your post. Sucks when you post before thinking about what you really want to say. Don't let your emotions get the best of you. Stalking your videos, though, no I knew this was there from when you first posted it. Like I said I don't report or call people out with out evidence. I'm enjoying my day as well and keep on enjoying yours :) Just wish you knew how to be a little more civil in your responses.

Edit: whoops on that double post though I was editing.

I shouldn't have to use something just to counter someone exploiting a bug, but yeah sure that could work. Damn things are expensive as hell though.
@izzakhalil why do you keep editing your comments, it's like you walk away from your computer and a light bulb goes off with a comeback that you think is better. Just think about what you want to say before you type.

I'm confused as to what bug I'm supposed to be seeing. Is the claim that Javelin stuns are situationally unbreakable?

#edit: Also I would only say this could be "shaming" if there is in fact a bug being exploited...right now it just looks like "naming" to me.

If I recorded all problems with CC breaking in this game, I'd have time for little else. Unbreakable fears are rampant.

It's not situational unbreakable, he does it everytime. Watch the video. Fear is different, no one knows why it happens. Essa knows how to make this happen and he does it purposefully every chance he gets and only the "skilled" players who break cc as soon as his javelin hits you can break it. The person in that comment on youtube(idk who it is lol) litter ally says it.

True about fear, it doesn't appear to be the fault of the caster just a general CC break problem with the game. If there is some way of intentionally making javelins perma-stun, I hope it gets looked into. Willfully using exploits isn't skillful or competitive, it's just cheap.

And I completely agree with you, which is what this thread is about. It is possible to perma-stun players with javelin unless you are able to break free the second the javelin hits you.

Learn something new everyday. So Jav can Perma stun a player somehow? And here I thought when ever I was unable to break I thought it was due to lag or something benign. Interesting.

I've been perma-stunned by javelin, and just about every CC now and then. If it's a game problem, I'll just live with it until it's fixed. If it's possible to intentionally exploit, I would hope that the better players would avoid it rather than exploiting and rationalizing it as being "competitive" or "skilled".

If a skilled player has found a way to exploit this that is sad and pathetic. If it truly is a bug then ZOS really should fix this. The piece of the puzzle that is missing is someone saying "hey this is how to do it and replicate it" so it can once and for all be proven. The video shows multiple guys being permastunned during different one on one encounters.

This has been around for months but has been kept on the hush hush by the poeple who use it. Essa said on stream back in july that all you have to do is cancel your heavy atack with a javelina. Now if there is a missing piece after that idk. All I know is that the one thing that is consistent in that video is that every fight is started with a heavy atack into the javelin. @izzakhalil could you tell ZOS how it's done so they can fix it?

    Hello everyone,

As it seems this thread has gone a bit off the rails and seems more intended to name and shame another member, we've felt it necessary to close the thread. The reason being that this thread does fall under naming and shaming, and has become mostly baiting as well, both being against the Forum Rules.
