This is a guide on how to Properly Check to see if Your CONSOLE has been updated Recently.. Since Ive Seen ZOS Staff Tell people the Incorrect way which is out of date since 7/6.

Step 1:
Get the XBOX PREVIEW DASHBOARD from the XBOX APP STORE!!

Yeah I said it, this gives you lots of goodies as well as new features..
Example.. Cortana, Music in the Background, and fixes to the xb1 firmware, as well as NEW XB1 AVATARS as you rank up.
Theres also something called stats, when your stats go up you get rewards.

Oh I Also forgot to mention When You have this app you can Report Bugs and Apps and Errors Directly To Microsoft!! COOL HUH!!
And Microsoft Staff can Contact You Back Directly To YOUR Console Via Reporting System.. I have Experienced it Firsthand via bug report.

NOTE: If the XBOX PREVIEW DASHBOARD is not in the XBOX APP STORE, Drop Your Name In the Thread or Friend me, and Leave Me a Message That You would Like The XBOX PREVIEW DASHBOARD!
The Only other Alternative way of getting it if its not in the STORE is having a Friend Invite you to the Program.

Once you have this app, Open it.
It looks like this IN RED:


Once it opens up this is what the dashboard looks like.

Step 2: Click the Announcements tab

Step 3:
Now You can Read the LATEST UPDATES, and If You Want Read the KNOWN ISSUES With Them ALL IN ONE PLACE!!

For Those Who don't have the XBOX PREVIEW DASHBOARD there are alternatives..

STEP 4:
Go to Settings..
Then Click Console Info And Updates..

Step 5:
Then Take Note of the CIRCLED INFO in step 3 above!!!
IT WILL SHOW HERE AS WELL!! In Blue Underline!!

Click step 6!

To Check when Your Console was LAST UPDATED Click LATEST UPDATE STATUS!!
CHECK WHERE THE RED CIRCLE IS!!


DO NOT CLICK THE RED X..
THIS IS THE OLD WAY OF CHECKING RECENT UPDATES... IT IS OUTDATED!!!
AND ITS THE WAY ZOS HAS BEEN CHECKING ON RECENT UPDATES THE WHOLE TIME!! LAST RECENT UPDATE WAS AROUND 7/6 IN THE WHATS NEW BUTTON..
