Is there anyone that thinks the current meta dk build is even the slightest bit entertaining? Players who run around like *** squirrels looking for trees to circle while mass healing and spamming wrecking blow until they knock you in the air and then hit you with 18k damage leaps? I've been killed by so many "invisible" dragon leaps lately it makes me think animation cancel is the only way to play. Is this really the way this game is going to keep going? If its not this build its gonna be some other build pretty much based on the same thing...run, hide, heal, try and burst kill someone with multiple shots but only show animations for one ability. How can there be any skill if all a player has to do is dodge roll all day and press macro keys? I have an idea...If I cancel an ability with blocks or light attacks or another ability...it didn't actually happen. It's absolutely ridiculous to keep going around pretending that animation cancelling an ability is an intended mechanic. It's a broken mechanic that has been dodged and coded around for too long. It needs to go, no more 5 shot combos that only show or two attacks and no more "invisible" ultimates. I'm sick of fighting players who do nothing but run and keep there back to me and stick that stupid sword in the air and get all there health back. I could list about 50 broken mechanics in this game but I'll just leave it at that. I honestly don't think there is any skill at all in the current meta builds. After almost 2 years of this game I've decided its probably gonna keep going in the same direction, but I figured I'd share my thoughts before I bailed.
