Invisible coldharbor siege

im sure if you have played eso pvp on the xbox one you have been affected by the stupidest problem to have in the game. i am of course talking about the invisible coldharbor siege. the collection of siege weapons that deals a large amount of damage and can even one hit people. the siege weapons that hit you literally out of nowhere, you dont see them fire, you dont see the projectile in the air and you dont see a red circle on the ground. this has been happening for literally weeks now.

how has this not been fixed yet? i have not even heard any news on when this will be fixed. maybe people just havnt reported it, until now i have been quilty of this and if this is the reason it has not been fixed yet i apologise for the thousands of unnecessary deaths that have happened.

i still havent heard anything on when this will be fixed, or even if they are actually working on it.

I have noticed from in game conversations that most (95% of ppl) that complain about this are the ones that dont bother aquiring them then when they finally do it turns into wrong place wrong time cant wait to do it back my suggestion if you havnt gathered 3-5k gold to buy one from most guild traders get on it or farm them

im not complaining because i dont have any, i could go buy like 100 of em. im posting about this because it is a serius issue that adversely affects pvp in a big way. instead of making pvp a fun and competitive experience people like you go out and farm dolmens in order to exploit the game. you are part of the large number of people who would rather use exploits instead of playing the game fairly.

    Tips and tricks:

Look for a siege engine with no animation.

Call out cold harbor to your group

Place siege shields and prepare purge/heals.

Turn on health bars above other people.

Watch for health bars to drop with no visual animation or sound. Hit purge, then heal. Move away.

Or: set up your own cold harbor and hit the person using it. It's rather satisfying.

just found that, it did take some looking to find a response about the broken siege weapons. if im missing something and there is an official response somewhere thats relatively easy to find, their handling of this issue has been really poor. this severely affects pvp in a negative way and it upsets a LOT of people. so far that one tweet is the only response ive heard of from them.

also theres no tips or tricks to survive against cold stone siege. someone can put it up and kill a group of people taking a resource before anyone even knows whats happening.

I find they are only a pain when people use them on Dolmen chests.

Outside of that if you're taking a resource you can stand outside the damage circle and still cap the flag.

Put up a regular fire ballista, fire it at flag. Check distance, stand outside that circle while still in cap distance. (This works for 90% of resource flags) for the other 10% have someone look around for siege, use counter siege, or destroy the tower before taking the resource.

"Keep your head on a swivel"

Cold stone trebs are tough because they can one shot you. But they won't with a siege shield.

so basically, completely change the way you play the game because they put a broken siege weapon int the game.

surely someone tested this game before release and saw that it was broken. why did they not disable it???

You always need to adapt to new strategies.

Cold harbor is still going to hit hard after the patch.

Every siege I've seen lately has at least 4 defending it. Now we just make the assumption that one is there and set up our own counter siege.

Yes it's annoying, but there's no console PTS.

If you see someone using one, put up your own out of his/her LOS. Players on cold siege engines tend to be oblivious to everything else around them.
