A player stole my gold

A few days ago another player was going to pay for a werewolf bite normally I give my bites away but I was going to trade for a daderic manifest and I was going to trade my bite and 9000 gold for the manifest but my bite was not ready so he was going to give me 9000 gold that he sent in a in game message upon receiving the message I clicked receive instead of getting gold I lost my gold normally when such a thing takes place the message would have said c.o.d but this was not the case it said the player was sending gold screen shots were taken of the message and another message of how it should have been this is a bug that needs to be fixed so more players will not be affected?
