Hirelings DO bring new mats

Just received my hireling delivery today on the PTS - I received...

5 Voidstone Ore, Fire Opal, Sardonyx, Copper, Grain Solvent, and 1 Colossus Ingot

The Colossus ingot is used to craft the new VR15/VR16 gear! I had already spent all 10 skill points in metalworking, and put 3 skill points into the hireling. Hooray for another (slow and steady) way to get mats!

Sweet jesus. Must be a rare drop. I haven't gotten any from 6 deliveries the last two days. But I guess it's better than nothing.

Ouch, I had just put my points back in. I forgot to max of woodworking and tailoring and had just put in hierlings points so nothing there, but I shall see tomorrow.

Also check crates and barrels for random deconstructible loot.

Yeah but multiple characters can have hirelings.

That I can't test because I'm subscriber, so I never had to "fake buy" the DLC from the Crown store. I imagine it should - because you are also able to decon VR15/16 gear from the old dungeons for the new mats.

I hit VR14 a day or two after they announced VR16, at my rate of levelling I should get enough by the time I hit VR16

lol I didn't say it was a SOLID source... it's a source though.

Nice, now around 120 more and you can craft 1 item of v16 gear=/

Don't know how rare it is yet but I also got a Colossus Ingot on my first day.

I subscribe, and I still had to "fake buy" the DLC from the store on PTS.

EDIT: Just checked around with some friends who are also ESO plus subscribers, and they had to "fake buy" it too.
If you didn't, maybe they are also testing their subscriber rollout model to a proportion of players on PTS too

I have characters on both servers, but mostly play on NA.
It was even in the patch notes that subscribers would still have to go to the crown store to test it on PTS, we got given extra crowns same as people who don't subscribe.
I reckon they are testing the subs rollout on a few people, maybe due to your forum status or something you were part of that - but it isn't because of paying a sub

One person got 1 colossus ingot among many hierling mails and people cheer for it?

1 ingot from 110 to 150 to craft VR16 gear.

Yeah, 3 deliveries yesterday, 3 this morning. 1 wood/1 metal/1 cloth make up the 3.

It's been so crazy how hard it is to get some mats together. Yes, it is sad that seeing one ingot come from a hireling is great news.
