Started updating ESO today and it stuck at 4%, then the installation was interrupted and I get always this error message (I´m translating from my language to english, so may be innacurate): "the item you are trying to use appears to be corrupted. Try unistalling then installing again (0x80070570)."

I have rebooted several times (pressing the power button for 10 sec) and cleared the persistent storage but nothing helps.

I really don't want to uninstall and redownload the entire game again.

How do I fix this?

Any feedback? Not sure if I just unninstall the game and redownload it, what if this issue persists?

Try uninstalling, then reinstalling. If that doesn't work, make sure your disc is completely clean (no fingerprints, etc), then try again. And if that doesn't work, maybe google it? What platform are you on? Maybe someone on your platform will be better able to help you.

I`m on Xbox One, got the digital copy of the game. Today another patch is out and I got the same thing. Install update, download about 4% then it gets corrupted. Xbox Support doesn't help, nor Zenimax.

If I had the disc version of the game I wouldn't be annoyed for having to download 55gb because of a 1.5gb broken patch.

Hi there, @adamwarl0ck. As @FireflyNeph suggestion, please uninstall and reinstall the game. That should get you past this error.

Thanks for the reply, uninstalling does fix it, but I want to prevent this from happening. Any idea on why I have this issue with every released update? Downloading 55gb takes a lot of time.

    I'm having the same problem.
Reinstalling really solves the problem, but a 55 GB download takes a lot of time.
