So I've been getting kicked with the message "Unable to connect to game server. Please make sure you have a valid internet connection." Is this still cause by the server's incapacity for everyone? How long do you guys think it will take? I'm just really desperate to play this game!

It's easy for you to to say take a breath and calm down because you can actually use the product you paid for when you want not for just 30 minutes or less at a time. I have had 1 time that the game worked for an hour or a little longer before being kicked off due to the maintenance so why would my internet be a problem when it didn't happen then and all other games and apps work fine? It is clearly something on their side yet they won't even publicly acknowledge the problem on the known issues list unless it was added today. I'm getting sick and tired of all software companies that release broken games and take weeks or months or even longer to make their products work. If you were to buy a car and they delivered it and something was wrong you wouldn't be saying oh I can wait till they fix it I'll take the bus or use my old car until they decide to fix it, would you? Why should software companies get a free pass? I expect some problems just like I expect to have 100 plus saves for Fallout 4 due to possibly freezing up every once in a while but I expect to be able to play for more than 30 minutes at a time without being kicked from the game or having a freeze. Again if they would acknowledge the problem and say they are working on it it would be a big help or say they can't fix it and offer a refund.

What a lovely sales pitch! Now let me tell you about privileges and rights, when I'm told a game will be playable and I shell out the money to play it, it's my bought and paid for right to play the game, my internet connection is flawless and to be completely fair don't preach at me until after you fix the issues. Didn't think it would be so popular...what a crock, marketing is science not some sort of willie nillie guessing game, sell your BS to 12 year olds but don't insult my intelligence.
    Fix it or STFU.

Definitely a issue on your end. It is a big game. Game memory could be an issue. Some people have a billion things their PS4.

I just hope that they will give some sort of compensation for dealing with this ****, I have been trying to play since launch and I can't stay connected for more than 2 minutes.

PC players got compensation through days added to subscriptions when this happened at PC launch. I think it was a week or 10 days.

But now that the game is B2P I'm not sure what they'll do. Probably a pet or something like that...

    Five days.

Says the little turd that uses mommy and daddy's money to get whatever they want and can actually play the game. You are probably one of the little annoying turds that plays loud annoying music and make random noise in their microphone. It's fun too make assumptions isn't it? If you would have actually read the previous post most are not whining and just want acknowledgement of the problem and a possible eta on a fix. My previous post is probably too hard for you to comprehend though. Again, assumptions are fun.

Why couldn't they just make a sequel, cat Land or lizard land? Why do we have to not be able to play with 1000 people we don't know? I played oblivion into the ground, the same with Skyrim and love them both, this EOS idea is the dumbest *** ever.

Bethesda are making a sequel. ZOS don't make TES games, they just bought the right to use the franchise as a framework for an mmo. The release of this game will not affect the release of Skyrim 2 in any way. TES games will always be single player though; this is the closest you will ever get to co-op skyrim, I'm sorry.

Uh, actually it was released April 4th, 2014. You got the PC and Console dates mixed up. Console was June 9th, 2015.

ZOS and Bethesda are owned by the same company, Zenimax Media, and there is not going to be a "Skyrim 2". Skyrim was just the 5th game in the Elder Scrolls series. Elder Scrolls VI will be most likely set in a totally different area of Tamriel.

As much as I am fustrated by the moderators lack of acknowledging problems I really do want this game to work because I love playing the game so much, I have so much fun in PvP.

I have only been able to play 3 times without any problems in 5 weeks and even though I did have help from ESO support for a few emails until they Said the problem was on my end and then they said it was Microsoft issue.

Yes, it annoys me that people with problems get ignored by the moderators but I know it takes time to fix and I am trying to be patient but 5 weeks is a long time

    Hey there everyone,

We understand the frustrations that you're experiencing and we're working to address these concerns as quickly as possible. That said, this thread has become a catch-all for bug reporting, which is not ideal for addressing issues individually. We also do not grant refunds here on the forums. With these things in mind, we have closed this thread.

If you're experiencing an issue, we encourage you to post a new thread and include as much information as you possibly can about your issue. Screenshots and video are always welcome if you're willing to share them.

    Thanks for your understanding.
