Thanks all for the help! If I'm playing wit 2 friends most of the time, would Magicka Templar be better than Stamina Templar in your opinions?

Depends if you want to heal or dps. There no such thing as a stamina healer. it appears you said dps in pvp. In that case stamina 100%

There really is no best it's all about who the player is playing the character. Example *** can throw 18k dps with his Stam templar. Jane however has same build as *** and same race. Jane can get 12k dps with her Stam templar. Jane however still likes *** for his advice.

Thanks! So in that case might it be better to go Imperial so that it at least gives me the option to switch to Stam DPS later? I just don't want to gimp myself if I choose to go Magicka and healing...

If you want to give yourself the best chance to hit max numbers you'll specialize in one or the other. If you really feel the need to fill both positions then yes, imperial is one of the most versatile for both stam and magicka.

You're not gimping yourself either way. You can also roll a fine magicka dps with a templar. But you won't be a good healer and a good stamina dps with the same character, because you'd have to shift attribute points every time you switch roles. I have two suggestions:
    1. Pick the race you like better. This game is not only about power. Create a character you will love.
    2. If you don't care either way, pick breton and create a really good healer. You can have loads of fun as a healer in PVP as well, and it is so easy to switch from good healer to good magicka dps by just exchanging a few armor pieces and skills. One healer in my guild does 10k dps alone on his healing loadout. At some point you'll want to try another class anyway, everybody does after a while. And Templar is not necessarily the most fun in PVP. Sorcs, Nightblades and DKs can be more fun, and all of them work really well with stamina. You can roll Imperial on your second char and then you'll have a great magicka guy and a great stamina guy, and you have a choice to play with either.
