Does PVE mobs or bosses can crit?
does impenetrable gear is required for tanks?
I did a search and there are posts saying both yes and no.

there is a sort of a dev statement that they don't, but it is from 2014 and the answer is regarding "NPCs" which I am not sure he meant trial bosses etc.

so, is there a way to get a new answer for this question?

thnx

Very recent answer from the devs as of a month ago is no.

i am hoping for official answer for this myself. most sources point to no, one official post i found (don't know where it is now) said no, since 1.6 my damage has been erratic sometimes-one set of mobs im fine, the next set of exactly the same mobs i am not (not fully sure why yet, it could be a latency/communication failure), and there are options for crit defense in the CS. im still pretty sure that mobs DON'T crit, but a solid ZoS confirmation would be nice.

sadly, i don't expect an official answer. they may have this kind of information under some part of the NDA so as to prevent players from stacking the "perfect amount" without pissing away time to figure it out and so competition doesn't have this info (don't jump on this comment and derail the topic).
