Templar Healing Mundus Stone Numbers Confusion

I'm trying to gauge the benefits of Ritual vs. Mage on my Healer in 1.6.2. I won't list gear and all passives, as they did not change for these tests. All I changed was Mundus Stone. I did tests on Breath of Life, Ritual of Rebirth and Combat Prayer from Restoration Staff.

With the Ritual Mundus Stone, 25,273 Magicka, 1570 Spell Damage Heal/Crit Heal
Base Heal & Standing in Purifying Ritual
Combat Prayer 4687/7030 & 4687/7030
Breath of Life 7736/11604 & 9791/14686
Ritual of Rebirth 13,421/20,131 & 16,984/25,476

With the Mage Mundus Stone, 26,611 Magicka, 1570 Spell Damage

Base Heal & Standing in Purifying Ritual
Combat Prayer 4703/7054 & 4703/7054
Breath of Life 7710/11565 & 9851/14776
Ritual of Rebirth 13,375/20,062 & 17,091/25,636

From this, i think Mage Mundus Stone is the way to go. Slightly less class heals, slightly more resto heals.

My question is: Why are Class Heals BETTER in purifying ritual with Mage vs. Ritual? The passive ability Focused Healing just says 30% increased healing, what other variable might be affecting this? Any ideas? Thanks all! Kahvii

The reason why is the order the math is done.

Here is how the heal amount is determined:
    (Base Heal)(100% + Modifiers) = Heal Given.

Base Heal: This is determined by max magicka and spell damage.
Modifiers: These are the percent based healing done all added together. Please note that the target will have increased healing received which is calculated separately.

With Ritual: The base heal stayed the same but a modifier was added.
With Mage: The base heal was increased instead of adding a modifier.

The more Modifiers a player has the greater a small change in the base heal will get effected.

    IE:
    Base Heal: 10,000
    Modifier: 40%
    Total Heal = 14,000

Increasing the base heal by 200 would then give:
    Base Heal: 10,200
    Modifier: 40%
    Total Heal: 14280

As you can see that a 200 increase to the base heal added 280 instead.
    ===============================================

Increased healing verses Increased base heal will depend on the players current value of each.
