1.6.2 Undaunted Vet Pledge Gold Key Drops

Here are my test results for the increased drop rates for undaunted (2-piece set) shoulders per the patch notes based on a small, statistically insignificant, sample size of 36 gold keys. Loot breakout was as follows:

Gold: 2,484
Soul Gems: 75
"Junk" Purple Loot Items: 41
Undaunted Set Pieces (44.4% drop): 16 (Traits: Sturdy x 6; Reinforced x 4; Well-Fitted x 2; Impenetrable x 1; Infused x 2; Divines x 1)
Monster 2-Piece Set Shoulders (52.7% drop): 19 (Traits: Reinforced x 7; Well-Fitted x 5; Impenetrable x 2; Infused x 3; Divines x 2)
Chests Without Either Undaunted/2-Piece Drops (25% Chump SoL): 9

Again, I reiterate that this is a rather small data set and, as such, there shouldn't be any conclusions drawn. Regardless, I wanted to get my test findings out for sake of discussion/feedback.

I'm so confused ....maybe it cause i've never done an undaunted pledge ...

52.7% of the time you are getting the 2-piece Shoulders?

Wow that is significantly higher than my rate. Anecdotally I would say it is like maybe 5-10% for me. I know some people that have been doing Gold Keys since Day 1 and never got a shoulder piece.

EDIT: I'm an idiot, thought this was Live. Still, 50% on shoulders on PTS? Holy cow.

So, am I to take from this that drop rates for shoulders are going to improve on 1.6? If so, thank goodness.

Been doing Gold almost every day and got ONE shoulder piece.

So, I started farming that dungeon for the helm. Done 35 completes and no helm.

Of course, when I get it....it will be in some armor weight I don't want with a training trait or something ;-/

These sets are very frustrating to obtain.

The gold keys given as rewards for completing the vet undaunted pledges have a random chance of dropping the shoulders for the 2-piece monster sets.

Yes, this is on PTS and not live. My drop rate on live is just under 10%. Keep in mind that this 52.7% is based on a small sample size (36 gold keys). It could be that I've been getting very, very lucky with RNG (too bad I don't have that sort of luck on live).

Yes, the drop rate on 1.6.2 is supposed to be double (presumably in comparison to what is live). I've done 81 gold key pledges but only turned in 41 of the keys. Of the 41 I've turned in, I've received 4 monster shoulders.

Is that a helm with exploration I see dropping for you?
