Jabs grant immunity

If they were going to add the cc immunity (which I feel is ok) the damage should not have been lowered.

With the lower damage, it more likely that you run out of magicka trying to stunlock then actually doing decent dps.

The stunlock only works with the Biting Jabs morph and that has been changed to be stamina based.

Good player had no prob with Jabs... but all the others...

Has nothing to do with being a good player. Despite sitting just a few miles away from the EU server, I simply could not break out of Jabs spam because of server/client desync and a lot of other European players have the same problem.

Fixing Jabs spam was necessary, however I would have prefered a rework of the entire CC immunity system. Talons may not be hard CC but the spam still needs to go.

The CC was ridiculous in PVP. If it caught you even once you were pretty much guaranteed to die unless you could time a forward dodge just right between knockbacks and hope the latency was on your side. The nerf was sorely needed.

If u were stupid enough to not move around the Templar, pop immovable or keep some stamina for especially that case. It was a idiottrap.

If you're fighting like a rockstar you can't save all your stamina for that one templar who abuses the only perma-stun in in the game :)

Means that the person that is beeing hit by it gains cc immunity.

Thats a tough nerf and additonal they nerfed the damage too.
I would prefer taking the whole cc of jabs away instead of knockbacknig someone for half a second and then grant him immunity.

It takes away my option of ccing them effective.

So, they applied the same to DK Talons, right? I mean it would only be fair, since DK is still by far the most powerful class in the game...

They should have changed it to a snare for the duration ore something similar.

I'd be cool with snare, or even (oh my god, I'm going to say it), a root.

Dare I go even further and suggest that Templars (being fairly tanky) could use the skill to apply an AoE root? No that would be too crazy! There is only room for one spammable AoE root it this game.

Then why should you have to save it for rolling out of Talons?

Templars are 'just slower... by design'
Yes, Gina actually said that (at least regarding Rushed Ceremony) right here:

All sorts of options and any of them will do over what it is now. Have to get rid of the stunlocking and it granting CC immunity, so I would say it needs to not be a stun or knockback anymore. A snare or root would be grand, but I would even be ok with just getting rid of the CC completely.

Dodge rolling out of talons grants root immunity

Oh, I wish it did; then I would have no problem with it. But it does not. You can be chain-Taloned. That's the whole problem.

Dodge rolling out of talons grants root immunity

You can not be rooted while you are still in the middle of doing a roll, but after the roll animation completes there is no further immunity.
