Fastest way to level 42 Storm Calling?

Der_Deutsche_Hase
Does anyone know the fastest way to do this? Mages Wrath and Lightning splash doesn't do a lot of damage unless target is low on health. So it takes quite a while to level them up when using them as main spells.

Use your skill bars this way:
    - main bar for 100% of the fights
    - second bar that you use only to level up skills, switch to it right before turning in quests

This is indeed the best way. I'm a light armor sorc that decided to level my other skills, and I went from 0-50 medium armor using this tactic by switching into a training medium set before I completed every quest.

How long does it take doing this?

A large majority of your XP comes from quest turn-ins when leveling by questing. It won't be quick, but it's certainly less painful than trying to use certain skills when and where they're not useful.

To add to this, place as many SC abilities on the Main bar as you are comfortable killing with (even if you don't use them), and ALL of them on your alt bar for Quest turn ins, including the Ultimate. Also, just so we're clear, you do NOT level abilities or the Tree by use, only by XP gained while said abilities are on the active bar. Meaning it doesn't matter how often or infrequent you use any of the abilities, the tree will level at the exact same pace, based on the XP you gained.

As far as speed, you should be able hit 42 in a Class Tree somewhere around Character level 30-35. Don't forget to read every bookcase possible, there's 5 books for all Class trees, armor trees and weapon trees that give a total of 5 free levels.

I have a level 30 sorc that has bolt escape.

I did this by having every ability on my bar be storm calling including overload. For the 5th ability you can do and ability you choose. make sure the 5th ability can hit a decent amount because when you are questing/grinding you'll probably be using it the most.

Eventually, when you get your storm calling to around level 38 read every bookcase you can (before you get to a high level hold off on reading the books!) there will be a few that level up all class skill lines which will really help.

pic for proof: (PS. I got to level 33 from pvp, when I got bolt escape all I did was pvp) E1BdI17.jpg

Have it on your bar, go over to coldharbour and zombie farm just like everyone else.
Been here since Feb 2014 - You'd think I'd be half reasonable at this game by now...
