Why I like 1.6

1. No more ultimate spamming. i like that everyone is on an even bar for ultimate generation. no more meta dot builds. People will have to actually be strategic with their ultimates.

2. No more block spamming. new strategies have to be developed. No more stack and whack in dungeons and raids. Pvp will now require skill.

3. The increased difficulty in the game. I like the idea of vet players having to totally revamp their builds and strategies to survive while playing.

4. The templar changes. I play one. Now I can finally be on par with other class dps. no more 2 temp healers, 1 night blade veil vending, 9 dragon knight dps raid groups. God i'm tired of that.

5. The changes to armor. I really like the fact that light armor is no longer the best. it really opens up the game to different build types. the idea behind armor giving spell resist is awesome. just because you play a magic caster doesn't mean you should be god mode with spell resist and magic fully decked out in light armor. Your going to have to adapt and build for specific situations. the combos are endless.

6. The champion system. again because of the sheer possibilities in builds.

7. Soft caps gone.

8. Aoe caps gone.

9. New abilities that can be blocked.

10. The new buff system. I love, LOVE the fact that you can only have 1 certain type of buff active at a time. no more buff stacking. means you actually have to THINK about your builds.

11. No more all in one builds. you can't have it all anymore. you have to give up something in order to have more of something else. fantastic idea. love it.

I know that some of the gm's were in We Kill Bosses team speak for pts feedback on 2-6-15. I was there and the feedback was only from a very few and was not the feeling of everyone listening. as 90% of the people in the team speak were muted and were warned not to message the gm's or they would be kicked. So what you heard was only from a very few and hopefully you will not make decisions based on what you heard there. For future feedback sessions I would like to have an open forum where everyone gets a chance to speak. not just tanks and sorcs.

I have spoken to lots of people and they like the changes. problem is not many of them come to the forums to express it. People only come here to complain.

I like most of the changes too. Some tweaks are still needed though.

Light armor feels very weak compared to medium armor now. It's got much less armor value but the spell resistance is also the lowest by a large amount, which doesn't make that much sense. The last 2 light armor passives also seem very week compared to their medium counterparts.
    10. The new buff system. I love, LOVE the fact that you can only have 1 certain type of buff active at a time. no more buff stacking. means you actually have to THINK about your builds.
This makes potions very very bad now compared to live, which I don't like at all. Other than the obvious nerf needed for Entropy (Mages Guild skill) the system as a whole seems fine.
    Wololo.

I think it's great. Light armor will be better at stacking shields. I believe it is really balanced. So, many ways to play millions of builds. Ppl will find stacking in area is great till someone finds another way. You really have to use ur head to build a great toon.
