Bow damage seemed lower than 1.5.7

In 1.6 I used my character and stacked stamina, and while it's difficult to determine the exact difference based on the changed numbers. Bow damage seemed lower, this is purely anecdotal, but I'm wary given how the game started with stamina and bow builds.
