Immovable nerfed?

The new patch on the PTS (1.6.1) has this change for Immovable:

•Immovable: This ability now grants crowd-control immunity for 5 seconds instead of the full duration of the ability. The maximum rank of this ability and its morphs now lasts for 15 seconds.

Looks like a major nerf to immovable: the way I am reading it, the maximum you can get the CC immunity for is 5 seconds, though the other effects can last for up to 15?

Templars are 'just slower... by design'
Yes, Gina actually said that (at least regarding Rushed Ceremony) right here:

    Yep.

Good news is that you can now craft a potion that will grant you up to 15.1 seconds of CC immunity :)

Serious. If you make a potion from three ingredients that all have the immovable trait, you get a potion that provides CC immunity for 15.1 seconds.

Another option is potion with only two of these components, that way the potion only gives 12 seconds of CC immunity, but you can combine it with things like 40% increased movement speed for 25 seconds plus stamina heal/20% stamina regen for 25 seconds.

Some very powerful potions are now possible (15 seconds invisibility? :))Keep in mind potions now have a 45 second cooldown tho.

I do like that it has such a long duration now but yeah the CC immunity dropped to 5 seconds is terribad (from a PvE Tanking perspective). I'm sure it was one of a long list of PvP nerfs that negatively effect PvE, leh sigh.

I'm not sure it will affect PvE tanks as much if they're tanking in heavy armor.

Did not know about the potion though.

Thanks for the info! So this is part of the crafting revamp? I didn't know the changes were so big... will have to go reread those patch notes!

It will to some extent. I currently Roll Unstoppable on the last fight in Vet EH while Tanking to keep the Dark adds from MC'ing me as well as the 2nd fight in Vet WS to keep him from Fearing me through Fire. The new duration is great, the nerf to CC duration sucks.

    Lame.
Don't must of use this because of the CC immunity?

The CC immunity is definitely the reason it is used so much in PvP.
