Ok, at times I notice an effect where when the bad guy drops dead, I see a red/yellow stream of "energy" travel to my staff. Very similar to the video effect of a soul trap leech. Any idea what is causing this and what it may be effecting? I looked at my skills but nothing is jumping out to me. It is not the staff head glowing, that has a different look to it.

I dont know if this is true, but i THINK it may be the effect of the first passive for the restoration Staff. It heals you for 15/30% of the damage done when you kill a enemy with a restoration staff heavy attack.0
