Do Sorcerer pets taunt?

Hello,

Can anyone tell me if any of the Sorcerer pets taunt? And if so, are they single target or AOE taunts?

I would really like to make a build where I can summon a pet and have it act as a tank. Is this possible? If so how viable is it with solo PVE?

Right now i'm VR5 with my Sorc and except ultimate for Atronach, i have zero points invested in Summon tree. I find these pets waste of points.

No, pets do not taunt.
They aren't typically any good as tanks either, mine never take any aggro from me.

The only useful ability from this whole tree is Conjured Ward.

Or maybe bound armor if you are a tank.

Yes; they taunt players. The taunts do not affect every player - some seem to be immune - but most players are taunted by the lack of damage, feeble survivability, poor utility, and lack of control.
