Forced To Reinstall ESO

So I tried to play ESO, clicked play and it gave me Error 12, so I click repair and it does it's thing and ends up trying to reinstall the whole game. So I tried opening the game directly using .exe and it would give me error 12 again. So it seems like I need to reinstall ESO on my PC. So I am mad but figure, whatever I'll just do it. Come back a few hours later and it's stuck at 16% and it came across a error of being unable to connect or some ***. So I had to close it and retry, and it didn't start where it left off, it is reinstalling back from 1%, again...

Thanks for the 5 extra days though, I guess...

Check your proxy settings just in case. Sometimes protective programs, such as Spybot Search & Destroy will put a proxy in your internet settings and it can cause problems.

1. Click Start
2. Control Panel
3. Internet Options
4. Connections
5. LAN Settings (Bottom of tab)
6. Write down any proxy settings that may be here so that if you need to put them back later on you'll have the info
7. Remove any proxy/uncheck Automatically detect settings
8. Restart ESO/repair or whatever stage it's at.
