Feedback for Zenimax:

I can't take it anymore. Frustrated and sad. I got to VR3. From VR2 to VR3 it was not a fun grind. I can't fathom VR4 to VR10. I can't do another quest.

I blissfully thought there was 60 levels in this game the whole time. There is actually 150 levels to grind out. Well 170 with Craglorn. I didn't realize that up front.

I was going to stay for the PvP but there is very little exp in PvP. It would take months for me to get to VR10 in PvP.

I liked the gameplay and Cyrodil a lot, but 170 levels of questing, I can't do it. If I was VR10 today, I'd keep playing, I can't make it there. Even double exp in Cyrodil isn't enough for me.

Unsubbed. Bye.

Found it odd that when my wife chose to unsubscribe us from the game, we were asked for no form of feedback on why we chose to do so, such as was the case for SWTOR.

Guess the developers of ESO just don't care.

I like the game and am sticking with it. That said, I can respect your opinion of VR leveling and fear you are not alone.

Hopefully this will be read by the developers and they can come up with an alternative means to help level VR.

I think a little grinding is good for a MMO. You need a sticking factor and goals for players to work for.

I don't really feel that VR10 is a grind because the quests are interesting, and some even got me those 'something's not right....' moments like the mad town and Maulborn quests but locking content and gear behind it is not right.

A change should be to focus on letting you access all the content in the game and having max-leveled gear capped at 50, but still giving a benefit to getting VR10 and doing every quest in the game. Then you got that sticking factor whilst it won't feel like a grind.

I've suggested something on this forum but a good system which is already in practice would be TSW's augment system.

What that system does is allow you to get add-ons which can be attached to certain skills to grant small bonuses on that skill (e.g. heal for a small x amount when activating the skill this add-on is attached to), so they won't give you much of an edge in PvP or trivialise content, but you'll definitely feel a benefit to having them and they open up more options to making builds.

Those augments take a long, long time to get, involving getting drops from end-game content, using a lot of skill points (which are infinite) and using a lot of high-end materials.

As I'd posted elsewhere, we recognize that the majority who post in forums like this are the "serious" gamers who tend to race through content as quickly as possible in order to max out their levels.

My understanding is that the silent majority are not like that, instead preferring a more casual style of play, my wife and I being a case in point: I work during the day, and we'll often play for a couple of hours each night - we're only at Level 18 now.

Our idea of fun in a game like this is to cooperatively explore Tamriel and quest together, helping each other out of jams.

What isn't our idea of fun is being forced into solo-only instances, watching our respective characters perish, all while the other character has to wait, twiddling his or her thumbs, completely unable to assist.

the 'silent majority' is already leaving or gone. We started in a guild with 25 people, every single person has cancelled their account before the first recurring payment.

The above is the main reason I will stop my sub.

Same with everyone in my friendlist. I see many VR1-VR2 who have just stopped logging out. Some people still don't understand that.

But it's ok they will understand it along with the company when they are the only ones left playing this game.
