Broken Launcher: Downloads extremely slow and resets in endless loop.

Hello, and thank you for taking the time to read and, or respond to this thread. A few days ago I made the mistake of uninstalling ESO after receiving an error that my client was using the wrong version. I figured a clean install would clean up any corrupted installation or patching, boy was I wrong. For the last three days I have been installing and uninstalling my client to no avail. The launcher downloads unbelievably slow, gets to about 9%, resets, and repeats the process. The ESO folder can be seen getting to about 11GB before finally deleting itself on further inspection. I have tried disabling my firewall, anti-virus, canceling and using the repair option a top of the news section, running as admin, and deleting every trace of the installation that I could find before re-trying the client. Nothing seems to make any difference. I apologize if this issue has been posted previously, but I feel that mine is a little different than those I have read over the last few days. I am at wits end and do not exactly know what to do at this point. Any and all help is greatly appreciated.

My experience with the game itself has been wonderful, this is purely a launcher issue, and partly my fault for re-installing when I shouldn't have. I hope this can get resolved soon. Thank you. - A friendly Khajonian

Problem resolved. I ran a registry cleaner, removed all traces of ESO, and uninstalled VC++ 2010, allowing the launcher to re-install it. It took a good long day for the game to install.. Maybe 12-14 hours.. I hope this helps..
