How to fix error 209! (At least it worked for me)

KipsterHippy
Hey, I just found out a few ways to fix the annoying error 209! I'm sorry if none of these work for you. Just something that worked for me

1.Try closing the launcher then open it again. This is the easiest but not most helpful way. It worked for me a couple times, but I think it's luck :stuck_out_tongue: .

2.Try running the game consultant then closing the launcher and open it again. Once again I think this ones luck too.

3.Use The Nexus Mod Manager! I ran across this way on accident. I wanted to download mods for ESO and tried launching the game from there. And guess what? I didn't even need to go through the launcher cause it just launched the game like it clicked PLAY on by itself! Plus, every time I tried opening the game through the launcher the play button was there waiting for me :triumph: .

3.1 In order to do this you need to make an account on www.nexusmods.com.
3.2Download the Nexus Mod Manager from
www.nexusmods.com/skyrim/mods/modmanager/?
3.3 Follow the prompts once installed. Then choose The Elder Scrolls Online from the game selector. Then choose to Launch The Elder Scrolls Online on the top right corner of the mod manager.

Well folks, if one of these option work for you, I'm glad I could help! Lets just hope that Zenimax can fix this so we don't have to find out how to our selves!
