if i lend my discs to my friend to install the game?

    He can buy a digital version on the main site. then instead of downloading from the that site just install from your disks. then he can sign on using the account he created when he bought the digital version.

    UUhhmm...a game code is the game. It represents the fact that you have purchased a license entitling you to play the game.

    You can buy the codes from online sites that will send you it via email, but yea he needs to purchase this in order to create an account to play.

    I'm not sure if the people above are just blindly assuming that your friend is trying to piggy-back the game for free, but certainly if ESO is anything like games in recent years, then this will be the case:

    1.) Your friend will need his own CD key to create an account - this can be done by purchasing the physical or digital edition of the game.
    2.) Your friend should be able to install the client off your CDs, but won't be able to log in until he has his own CD key, and thus account.
    3.) On the off-chance that things have changed in recent years, your friend may need a CD key to commence the installation process, but in any case he should be able to use your CDs.
