Major Story Lines Are Bugged

It's like buying the next book in a series you are a huge fan of only to find out that the author hasn't written the last two chapters!

Today, I was continuing the story of Queen Ayrenn and proving her right as ruler before the hosts of Elder Root. Sadly, the quest "Scars Never Fade" is bugged and is unfortunately a chapter of relations between Ayrenn, the dominion and the Argonian refugees.

If I want to see more, I must trust that the developers have read and acted on this bug. As of yet, they have not. I have read the forums and discovered that this bug was reported as early as April 5th, the day after launch. No response from the ESO team.

That creates a gap in a major story line in the Aldmeri Campaign. I have been following this story line since making it out of Coldharbour anxious to see it's end.

In reality, if I had bought a book that was missing a few chapters then I would return it for a full refund. Thus, if I am unable to play the next chapter in my favorite series I will cancel my subscription on May 5th or the day my free 30 days are up.

Can I trust that ESO will deliver the content I have paid a subscription fee for? If a subscription fee exists, then a good measure of trust between player and developer must also exist. That doesn't mean a bug free game, it means acknowledging and responding to players. If someone from the ESO team responded, "We are aware of this bug and we are going to fix it.", then they have my absolute trust and look forward to playing the next chapter. Simply because I want to believe! This is my favorite series of all time!

To those players reading: This is not about what workarounds I can exploit to continue this quest. I know what they are. It's about getting ESO to acknowledge and respond to players who cannot complete this and other major story lines. I see that many others are just as frustrated as I am about this. I'm trying and hoping to get someone from the ESO team to respond to us. As far as we know, no one is working on this.
