Purple recipes.

Are there any purple level 50 recipes? I haven't seen any. Are they VR10 or something?

I've only ever seen blue. I've seen green VR recipes (like the sweetroll) but that seems to be related to your Provisioning skill, rather than your actual level.

I got a few blue vr5 provisioning recipes during early access, but I've never seen purple ones of any level.

You sure it was level 50+? I've seen level 36 purples but nothing higher.

I have looted EVERYTHING and not one purple recipe of any level. I have complete all maps I have been to and still none. Veteran rank now but I have only seen 1 recipe linked once in chat. From what I understand the blues are better if you're not stamina focused though, but it still bothers me I have yet to find a single one.

Purple recipes are at least 20 times rarer than blue recipes in my experience. I found dozens of motifs, dozens of blue recipes and only one purple recipe so far.

I loot almost every container all the time. Up until a week ago I'd never looted a blue or purple recipe. I'm only level 30 mind you. I went back to the first map in Aldmeri Dominion, Auridon. In the bank in Vulkhel Guard I looted all things in the bank room. I received 4 recipes that were new to me, one of them was purple. I believe it was a level ~20 something recipe.

I'm not sure what it was, but it was very odd to get 4 new recipes out of a single room.

Purple recipes begin at level 35 and recipes drop according to your adventuring level, rather than your Provisioner level. This is confusing to some because it was bugged at Early Access, where many of us loaded up on VR5 recipes from the beginner zones. There are definitely VR5 purple recipes, but I've also hit a dry spell between 35 & 50.

I haven't found any either, I really want a purple VR1 or VR5 food recipe :P
