Game Crashes After Hitting Play On Launcher

Every time without fail I get the exact same crash message when I hit "Play" on the ESO launcher. I run everything with administrator. My graphics drivers are up to date, I run Windows 8.1, I have GeForce GTX 550 Ti, over 800GB of available space, 8GB of memory, everything meets the game reqs. This is not a launcher issue as the crash happens even when bypassing the launcher by starting the game directly with the eso.exe file. So far I've contacted ESO Support approximately seven different times and they have either ignored me or had someone call me to tell me to try running as admin and asking for MSInfo and dxdiag files (they have at least 5 copies of both files by now). Is anyone having this same problem with the game? (NOT the launcher) Or does anyone know of a fix that has somehow alluded me?

    Hi @gregfroadb14_ESO ,

    It looks like you've already done some extensive troubleshooting in order to get this issue fixed. Have you tried running a repair through the ESO launcher to see if any of the game files are corrupted? If not, that would be the next step to give a try. Afterwards, you would want to reboot your computer and try launching the game again.

    Please let us know if that helps or you've also tried it.

    Hey ZOS Team,
    I had the same problem (even during the last beta test). Patching the client up to full version didn't work as well as repairing it or rebooting the computer.
    I uninstalled everything of eso, rebooted and now I'm re-installing everything by delivered cd's.
    taking some time so let u know if it works.

    By the way gregfroadb14_ESO, did u have any issues by patching the game?
    Something like a crash, or did u cancel it?

    No, i've uninstalled and reinstalled on several occasions with no problems. I'm glad you got yours working though.

    @ZOS_BillE - I have ran the repair tool after every reinstall, unfortunately that did not solve the problem.
