I got some worm cult papers, really rare. They respawn much faster than the loot cool down too. I think you can only rng once every 4-5mins.

They do drop, however the drop chance is just not very high.
How I farm now is that I go to the aflicted public dungeon in Alik'r, since the field marshall their spawns in the first room. The respawn rate of this field marshall spot is also slow enough that everytime you kill it it drops loot and not only a few gold when you kill it another time. So the chance is higher it will drop a furnishing item every kill.
It isn't a guaranteed drop, so far I got 1 furnishing item roughly a day (not every day but most days) roughly in a range of 1 to 6 kills.
(I also take the virtrified souls quest with me so I can kill the wormcultist in the surrounding while waiting on the respawn so I feel less bored. Or I sit on my chair and watch the mold on the dungeon walls grow.)

I think I’ve only gotten one furnishing so far, scattered papers. What I really want is a scroll so I hope I get one.

I've been camping at one of these bosses for slightly over an hour now. With a respawn about every 5 minutes that means I've defeated 12 auf them now. Not a single furnishing drop.

The only thing that makes it bearable is that I'm chatting with a friend on the side (or actually that's more the main activity - chatting, and sometimes killing the boss when it respawns). But event activities shouldn't be bearable (at most), they should be fun. And I don't see that here.

I did get some, but I also switched from delve to delve (until I got really tired of it). I have the feeling that the more you kill the marshals, the less chance you have at a drop.

I got 3 before the weekend, 2 rugs and 1 scattered papers, but I killed maybe 40 of them to do so. 10 or so today dropped none, so the rates are very low.

Nah, it's arbitrary. This evening I spent 2.5 hours on this nonsense (while chatting with a friend, as I said), and during the first hour, I got nothing. After about 1.5 hours I got the first drop, and then another 2 drops in the remaining hour until I logged out. So this evening's loot were 2x scattered papers, 1x scroll. Nothing else.

If these were dropping at the camps it might encourage a bit more participation. Kind of odd they don't drop in Solstice, unless I'm missing something.

Which would give no incentive to tackle the bosses in delves/PDs.

Background flavour for the event. Those with the Content Pass seem very dis-interested in the Event.

Not sure whether they might also drop from the dolmen bosses. The problem is that, with as many people around, you barely get to loot them anyway.

After 3 weeks of nearly daylie, but smooth farming (rarely more than 1-2 hours a day, if at all), my findings at Marshals so far...

I had this issue last week I believe and Jessica or Amy responded that things were as intended.

Unless you're having a separate issue? We were seeing significant raises in drop rates after Zos said they raised it. Many guild mates tested it with me but the next week bam, right back to nothing. Is this what you're seeing?

There's supposed to be a work cult lamp jawbone but I have not seen it.

It does exist, and it's clearly too big for what it's supposed to be. Clearly no real bone parts but some plaster cast replica or something.

And no, I didn't find it. I bought it for my curiosity collection.

Wow, not practical but I really like it. A good thing, in a sea of poodoo, is that the plans for these will come to game. Im envisioning a necromancer house or something since we're getting all these decent furnishings. The current necromancer offerings from the lux vendor, the couple things from fang lair, are lame.

They surely do look nice. All Worm Cult furnishings, actually (although I'm not entirely sure why they'd have their own furniture). I've already found 3 furnishing plans now (not event-related), for a mirror, a stool, and what looks like a beer bench.
