Players Aren't Playing the Objectives on New Battlegrounds

Without those players killing opposing players constantly the team would arguably have a less chance winning. Every team needs Killers & Obj players

Objective players are killers. They kill on the flag, ball or relic and not just brawl on the side while the rest of the team struggles.

Go to IC if you want to just brawl randomly. BG’s are for a specific objective (everyone cues for this objective not just DM’s) and if people choose to troll team by ignoring there should be stiff consequences. If you choose to do dungeons repeatedly and troll team by not doing the dungeon, you should similarly be punished harshly.

They need to give a Death Match option. Maybe the 4v4's should always be Death Match? Let the 8v8 solo queue be flag games only?

But STOP making players come to flag/capture games when they don't want to be there.

WHY can you not have this? We used to have it.

there are DM weekends. if you want to play DM only, this isn’t the game. hasn’t been for a while.

IC is an ongoing deathmatch where you can run solo and brawl. ignore the flags. no one cares.

ruining the experience of teammates in BG’s won’t bring it back DM only and makes pvp worse for everyone who is actually doing what they cued to do.

It does not say anywhere that if I queue for BGs I have to play the objective.

If there is PvP on a flag, then I'm absolutely going to go there, but I wont do that if the only thing that happens is me standing on a flag for 20 seconds without any combat.

BGs are the best option for people who want quick PvP fights, usually much better for that than Cyro or IC.

You are wrong. It lists the possibilities when you cue.

It doesn’t explicitly say you have to complete the dungeon when you cue for a group. It’s just implicit. Your group can bump you for trolling in dungeons but not PvP. They take PvE trolls seriously and we need to get that same level of enforcement to clean up PvP.

If you only want to do 1 possibility of the options don’t waste other people’s time who are doing what they cued for.
