So who can fill me in on what is going on I am really happy about crown prices on NA being around 1000:1 but my Dreugh Wax was 50k now it sells for 18K

I could be wrong but the EU crown prices are the same as before and it seams they were not affected.... and I wonder about their Economy...

So anyone have some ideas and tin foil theories ?

Idk, but I barely bother listing anything anymore since it all sells for such a low amount.

This explains everything in great detail. Many will say it's just because of the anniversary event but it's slightly more complex than that.

Had a read of it, but am I wrong to assume it only affected PC NA? if so that does not make sense ?

On PC EU Crown prices are the same as before, but our prices went way down, how can it only affect one server?

    EU prices are despair!
I need to beg people to sell me crowns at 2500:1 while most sell in the 2700-3000 range.
And EU is much less inflated than NA like what the frick is happening....
Tbh if there wasn't an issue with credit card scammers and not region crown bans we would probably see prices drop to 1000-1500.
But it's funny with the 14 days listings stuff barely gets sold yet crowns in all time high, it's impossible to keep my crown crate addiction alive anymore

When I started playing after getting the game free on EGS, crown price was 1000:1 on PC EU, Dreugh Wax was 60K per piece, Perfect Roe was 50K, now Dreugh Wax is 18K at most, Perfect Roe around the same, and Crown Price is 3k:1... ridiculous to say the least...

All servers were affected, PC ones especially. As for the crown prices, I don't really know, crown market is pretty weird. It's probably just because PC EU sellers don't want to lower their prices.

Yup, this is basically greedy crown sellers not adapting to the new economy.

I'm pretty sure prices were already 2000:1 or even 2500:1 on pc/eu when epic games did their free promo? But yeah crown sellers on pc/eu seem slow to adapt to the new reality, if my stuff is worth half of what it was then I'm not paying more than 1500:1...

Material prices went cut in half.

Dreugh wax reached a top around 25k, and is now almost at 10k.

Tempering alloy reached a top of 11-12k, and is now around 4k.

Global prices are decreasing. I have some style page that had a very stable value over the years (like some opal monster styles), but recently lost 50-70% of their price.

Just a point on the title of this. Prices cannot go down by more than 100%. A price drop of 100% equals it costing 0, or free in other words.

As far as crowns to gold. The people buying the crowns to sell for gold are paying real money, they are going to be very slow to lower how much gold they want for that real money, especially as long as people keep buying at the higher price.

It wasn't, we had crown sellers in guild who were selling for at most 1200:1. Just in 2 months, it hit 2K:1 and then came the purge and it hit 3K:1. Those who used to sell, majority no longer has access to gifting and their request keep getting denied by ZOS. Barely 2 or 3 people have access to gifting but they never used to "sell" and only used to do events to gift to winners. It is pretty messy.

I don't sell crowns, have never sold crowns, but I certainly don't consider it greedy to set the in-game price you want for spending real money.

Same. I've virtually quit participating with guild stores. I've left 2 of the 3 trade guilds I was in, and managed to be a top seller in all three at the same time in the past. Now I don't even bother. No reason to.

Prices are high as *****. Something that should sell at 5k (according to TTC) is being oversold at 400% or more.

I've left my trading guild now, and I was a member since 2018... I'm very tired of selling my stuff for low price and meet requirements every week nowadays, it's very sad feeling :'(

And with ridiculous "gifting" prices even if I was still selling well, the low prices of everything would not allow me to earn enough gold to justify buying gifts :/

I don't understand how the crown per gold prices went from 400:1 to 3000:1. I have no idea how people who still buy gifts are earning their gold, and how they are ok with such ratio :o 600:1 ratio would be the highest price I could justify paying.

There are most likely a lot less players selling crowns these days, so I would expect prices to keep rising regardless of turnover and prices in guild stores.
