Constant boots from game

williamrathkampnub18_ESO
I've been playing ESO since it first came out and loved it. I'm 81 now and after a long layoff, I decided to come back. I can't tell you how disappointed I am now with the constant boots from the game every 5 to 10 minutes of playing. I've tried every recommended fix I've seen on the internet with no positive result. If I'm ranting now I apologize. I guess I'm looking for some advice. I truly love ESO.

@williamrathkampnub18_ESO Can you tell me which platform you are playing on?

@williamrathkampnub18_ESO Thank you for that information. Are you getting any error codes when it boots you out?

Yes, but they vary. One is cannot connect to server, another one I just got after playing for about 15 minutes is "An error has occurred, please wait a few minutes and log in again. I failed to mention that my computer slows down quite a bit after getting bumped. My ISP speed is over 250 mbs. Thanks for your help. I hope we can figure this out.

@williamrathkampnub18_ESO I would check to be sure you do not have any old Addons that have not been updated as this can cause an issue after being gone a while.

If after checking your addons ( if you are using them ) you are still having an issue, please reach out to Support for further assistance.

Error 307: The server doesn't know where I am.

I'm in the same place I was when I got error 310 and 304 over the past few months

Just wanted to move my comment from the prior thread to this thread since the other thread was closed:

Yeah I've complained about this in a ticket a few times and the best they ever get to is "Stop using a VPN"

The best part is I don't use a VPN. They refuse to admit their servers are the problem and not our hardware.

There are other computers between your computer and the ESO servers. Have you tried using TRACERT to see if it can shed any light on where any slowdowns are occurring?

What if performance in Cyrodiil is very bad for months/years while i don't experience any problems with other games and my internet connection is good enough for everything else, except playing ESO. Then one day after the "server hardware refresh" performance is almost perfect. The weeks after the update performance is very very good. And then the problems start to come back again. Just playing ESO. Same story with friends, guildmates and zonechat.

Will "tracert" and troubleshooting help me then?
