Hitting confirm on champion points screen freezes and shuts off Xbox Series X

Not every time but when I change my champion points and hit confirm, everything freezes, I can't go into the xbox guide menu and then about 5 seconds later xbox series x is completely off.
It's not related to JUST the console version, I played on xcloud too, and it did the same thing except instead of just losing connection screen it just straight back to the browser page to select games.
I'd really not prefer to have this bug kill my system just for changing my champion points.

Gnash_db✭Happens to me as well if I add a few points I'm fine but adding many points in different categories and confirming then back out Xbox hard crashes not to dashboard just power shutdown should be looked into before causes hardware failure.0
