Stadia UI issue improving items

There doesn't seem to be a Stadia specific support forum, so I thought I would post here.
When using controller interface on Stadia and you improve an item (any type, this just happens to be cloth), upon improving it the item in the inventory is displayed using the non controller interface over the controller interface. It's impossible to remove this window except by backing all the way out of the crafting screens. I've attached a screenshot to demonstrate.
Not a huge issue, just bloody annoying!
