It's insane how many issues they've had with Steam login over the last six years. If it's Steam, they need to tell Valve to get their act together as it reflects poorly on Zenimax. And if it's Zenimax's implementation of the Steam single sign on... well, no surprise there.0 -
Yep, can't connect here, either. Whatever delegated auth Steam provides isn't working - I'm logged into Steam without difficulty, but apparently ESO can't hit Steam & auth/auth me.0 -
im pc eu steam on linux and im logging in ok. i wonder what the issue could be...
PC NA here, so I'm suspecting a regional or server issue. I'm sure they will have it resolved shortly, but nothing gets things moving like raising a hue & cry...0 -

Find where it's installed (right click in steam and browse to local files) and launch the exe directly. It bypasses steam, but won't let you log in anyway if you only own it on steam. You can only bypass if you own it through ZOS as well.huntgod_ESO wrote: »Stupid launcher...sigh.

Yea that seems to be the case. Launching eso64 directly worked for me but I first bought the game directly through ZOS then later bought it on steam.@sean8102 - Carlore - Daggerfall Covenant0 -

If I remember correctly, it's This PC/LocalDisk(whatever directory your ESO is in)>SteamLibrary>steamapps>common> Zenimax Online>ZosSteamStarter.exe
The ZosSteamStarter will be an application; you can right click it, go to properties, then compatibility, and then either check/uncheck "Run this program as an administrator".
However, I've done this solution multiple times with offline/online Steam, restarts, repair, you name it, and it doesn't work. Hopefully it does for you.0 -

xAk_MoRRoWiNdx✭✭✭I'm having the same issue today. It was working fine earlier, until I got off and back on, and it was giving me this screen. I did some digging and I found the solution (or close to) is to go into Steam files and get find the "eso64.exe". I logged in via my ESO UserID and it all worked out
I wonder what's going on. HmmmmNew to forums and stuff so I 99.9 percent probably won't see your response and such, so use the at symbol at me I guess? IDK :/. This BBCode stuff is really cool!! :D.

- Return Stam builds to the power we held in One Tamriel. Long Live Stamina builds!
- Put Magplar and MagDK into their place. Magpsorc is a hopeless case.
- Is there any chance that we could get an Ebonheart Pact nerf? #CullingTheHerds .

Thought it might had been some screw up because my internet went down for a few seconds like usual, then i tried all the suggestions with no luck. But it seems it's an issue with Steam itself.

Didn't work for me. Just basically said "If you purchased the game through Steam or Stadia, please start the game on that platform". Still won't work through steam
