18 character slots is not enough.

This game has been going for years at this point and character slots are getting tight. Can we please get a big slot increase? Even an additional 2 would go a long ways. It doesn’t seem to be ending any time soon either.

I was thinking that too. They keep adding new costumes, and there are already so many skins and motifs; it is hard to use all the ones I want to use. Not to mention tattoos and body jewelry and dyes. It all just sits unused in my collections. A bit of a waste. Especially if you like to buy Crown Crates each season. We basically get a bunch of cosmetics we can never use.

You'll get 1 free one with the update maybe but the crown store is there and plenty of sellers around.

I mean your actual account cap is 18. You can't go above it and it's not enough with all the cool stuff added over time and certainly not with stuff to come.

I mostly play solo. I don’t have to "keep up" with anything.

I’ve only played not even a year and have 3 level 50’s geared up too. I say I barely even put time into eso. Even did 90% of story quest and mostly played casually. Even had time to paint stuff irl and even play a few other games.

None were added for summerset but i do hope it will not repeat this year

There are 3 slots per class.
6 classes, 18 slots

It is fine as is. You'll most likely get 3 more (1 free with chapter, 2 more to buy with crowns) when a new class comes out.

Personally, I wish I could roll all my characters into just 6 characters with a proper build load out selector, like profiles each with their own attribute, cp, gear, skills, and even racials.

This ever expanding list of characters is just not sustainable IMO. Dilutes the game.

I definitely have costumes at this point that I would like to put to use but dont fit any of my characters. Id need at least 4 more slots to use them.

I think I like creating characters even more than playing them, so I'm always up for more character slots.

There are some races I don’t like and haven’t made anything for or ever will. Now a unique character that has history and a lot of creativity put into him is worth more than a new class to me. I love creating new characters it’s just fun.

Just don’t expect a lot of sympathy from the forums ... as it will not increase until late May at the earliest (and that's not even confirmed).

I actually have no duplicate race genders in my stable of characters - so it’s not just race/class/alliance people think about when creating noob toons.

But (to the main point of my post) - wasn’t it 14 slots after Morrowind, and 18 after Elsweyr... so we must have gotten slots with Summerset, no?

Hence my “hope” that it is one free & two extra slots for purchase with DHoS.

What makes you think that?

They add slots when they add classes. That allows people with full rosters to add characters in the new class without deleting old characters.

They seem to like keeping the slots at 3 per class, which works fine for me.

Of course it's enough. Anyone who claims they are actually actively playing their 18 chars is straight up lying. I got 18, 6 per alliance 1 class of each. Some of them haven't been played in 4 or 5 patches and only exist as writ slaves or mules.

I don't see any need to add more charslots. I also see no harm if they were to do it, but still It's completely unnecessary. At least make an actual good argument why 18 isn't enough.

3 of each class works well for me.

My aegument is that allows for one stamina and magicka dps character, and then a specialist based of the strengths of the class or how i prefer to play it. Like dk i have tank, templar heals, warden a pvp build. If you want to minimise the respecing of attributes, cp, skills etc for roles then 3 of each class is solid.

i see no need to increase the character slots, its not a vital part of the game, 18 is more than enough for the majority of players some dont even fill 3, the ppl that do fill 18 mostly use Alts for storage, writs,transmute and event farming, so more out of greed than necessity.
