What happened to wayshrines/houses?

howdy folks,

this "bug", or whatever weird thing it is, has happened to me twice now in two days. my wayshrined are gone, so are the houses that i own (Snugpod in Grahtwood and Domus Phrasticus in Craglorn). when i look at my map i can see all other stuff, like skyshards, stables, lorebooks, points of interest, but i can not travel anywhere since there are no wayshrines to travel to. like on this picture(s) -





one may argue that i may not have any wayshrines "unlocked" in the area, but i have finished the main quest with my new character (lvl 31 Sorcerer) so Coldharbour is unlocked and i do have wayshrines in Grahtwood. in fact, i am standing almost next to the one in that big tree -



any ideas why? i am using a controller, but it is the same when i switch to normal settings (keyboard and mouse). any ideas are welcome, any solution will be much appreciated..

A friend recently had his wayshrines vanish. He somehow disabled them in the setting (one of the tabs when you open the map). Maybe yours got disabled?

hm, it get's even more weird. when i relog to my other character (max lvl Templar) i can see all the stuff that is missing on my lvl 31 Sorcerer. like here -



have not tried other characters, but i expect the same result. meaning all wayshrines are there. why is only my lvl 31 character affected with this? i can't travel anywhere, only by porting to another guild member/friend. i do not use many addons, and it is not the "maybe an outdated/broken addon" situation, as i can see the wayshrines on my other character(s). what is even stranger is my wayshrines were all there when i logged in today, they disappeared only recently, like 10 minutes ago. this is some dark and ancient magic i haven't mastered yet, i am sure

Press M for Map and then across the top there are several icons. Click on "Filters" and select what you want to see or not to see. Also, there are several addons that help show just about everything on the map (PC version of course).

Destinations, Map Pins, Lorebooks, Lost Treasure and several others. I have found Map Pins to be excellent. Hope this helps.

On which platform and megaserver do you play TESO? ZOS cannot investigate your report without that information. (Please read the Guidelines For Bug Report Forum.)

Display the Map, then check the Filters to see whether there is a checkmark in the box for Wayshrines. It can become disabled by accident, or perhaps by an add-on. If there is no checkmark, and you add one, then you might have to re-log your character to display Wayshrines.

By the way, there is no Wayshrine in Ghratwood at the location where the mouse cursor shows your character in the second screenshot. The symbol to which the white arrow points signifies that Guild Traders are located there. The nearest Wayshrine is in the center of the ginormous Elden Root tree, and it is not displayed.

yeah, i am a fool. the wayshrine filter was disabled. didn't know that there was such a thing, to be honest, like disabling wayshrines. who would ever want such nonsense? like, why would anyone want to disable wayshrines? so thanks folks, you have been awesome and i have been a fool. well, i still am, but now i know what to do if this happens again

LOL! Don't let it bother you. The same thing has happened to me, and only a friend (using TeamSpeak) solved the problem for me.
