It can be the size and have the same slots as a inn room and free with a quest. The difference is it with be a small tent and campfire out in the middle of a very dense woods or Forrest.

Each race already gets a free 'Apartment'.

See the following link for details.

Most 'Small' houses are pretty affordable if you play the game regularly even just a couple times a week doing just the Random Dungeons. (which usually take less than an hour to complete).

The small home 'Snugpod' seem to be much like what you described here and costs only $45,000 gold.

However, If you are considering buying a home, especially with 'Real' money, I would think twice.

At this time homes are basically only good for displaying you in game trophies... although the next patch is supposed to give you 'storage' space in you home basically making it a secondary bank.

You can't fast travel for free from your home.

Even if you put a merchant in your home, you cannot 'repair' your equipment from your home.

If you put a 'Banker' in your home it does not give you access to your 'Guild' banks or Stores.

You can place Crafting services like Blacksmith and Woodworking stations in your home, but if you are a crafter doing 'Daily Writ Quests' you can't start your 'Writ' quests from your home or complete it from your home so it is much more convenient to start and complete those quests from a town where you can both start the quest, create the items and complete the quest all in the same town.

Homes are a 'Pure Vanity' item, but they can be fun to decorate, at least for a couple of hours or so.

I spent about 120$ on a house and furniture and services and I basically never go there.

My 'Real' home in the game is the back of a stable in a town right next to a Wayshrine where I can do all my 'Writ Quest' activities in one place as well as repair all my equipment and do all my Guild transaction.

You can get a simple home for like 50k...Pretty much free if your max lvl.

If you want a house in the forest put a tent and fire in snugpod. Then place trees all around that's what someone else did.

That's nothing like what they asked for.
If you want a house in the forest put a tent and fire in snugpod. Then place trees all around that's what someone else did.

All around where? Snugpod has no outside. It's just the pod interior.
.... a small tent and campfire out in the middle of a very dense woods or Forrest.

Presently the best you could do is buy a home with a lot of outdoor space and throw in a lot of trees, campfire and tent.

Autumn's Gate is relatively cheap (60k) and so are non-fancy trees. Fill the outdoor space with trees and you could pretend you have a small lodge in the middle of dense woods.

Actually I was asking for a free house for all players M because I’ve seen a lot players asking for a simple camp site. I myself have about 12 houses. But a nice small free campsite I figured would be nice especially for players that don’t grind a lot gold and can’t buy crowns, rather than just the inn rooms. But thanks everyone for the ideas and feel free to keep posting them. I think there should be more small . Inn and apts available and not just the large and notables.

It's a great idea actually! Reminds me about classical party-based RPGs.

A portable tent idea has been bandied about on the board for a long time. Since we don't have a Sleep Function in the game, it is pure RP as to why to have it.

The Hag Fen Cottage is just about what the OP is asking for, but that was a limited time offer. It will probably be back at the next Witches Festival in October

Enjoy the game, life is what you really want to be worried about.

That's a nice idea. The entrance could be an opening in some hanging vines. Maybe backed by a mountain with an overhang. Walls could be a walkable maze of trees and vines. Maybe include a bubbling spring and stream, and bird and bug sounds..

Edit. Clearly this couldn't be a free home. Sorry, I got carried away with the tent in a dense forest idea.

Hmm...I was anticipating not liking this idea, but new players getting a little tent and campfire in a forest clearing or something would be nice.
