IE Will we be able to ALLOW friends access to certain containers if they are on the approved permission list for the house!!

Also any idea on the Crown cost for the containers?

Thank you

They said "no" yesterday. The coffers are only for you.

Great that house storage is coming, but that final step of setting permissions would have been nice. Houses should be a shared experience. I want my boyfriend to be able to place things in my house without having to trade them to me first, and be able to place/take things from my storage chest.

Please consider more housing permissions, ZoS. Otherwise, thank you for the coming storage update. I appreciate it.

I think they said, that you can see what your friends has on the container but you cant touch it.

Your friends or guildmates in your house cannot interact with your storage whatsoever. They cannot see what is in it nor add/remove from it. You and you alone can store/interact/add/remove from your containers.

Whilst it would be nice to have communal guild storage in a guild house, ultimately that's what the guild bank is for.

I believe this would complicate things a lot. How would you handle bound items in a shared chest when one of the players could remove the chest?

Simple: They wouldn't be able to remove a bound item.

That’s pointless to offer. I think they way they are doing it is best. The other opportunity is to enhance and update the Guild bank features

A sensible notion. One of the key advantages of an MMO over a single player game is that you can share stuff.

With multiple homes you could have a personal home for completely personal storage, and other homes where you might share stuff with particular friends.

One reason they might be hesitant though is it would make it easier for people to steal things. Some people are like that. And once something goes missing you're like, did someone steal it or was it a bug? So if they don't provide detailed logging associated with housing storage they would potentially see a wasteful increase in CS tickets and bug reports. That's real money down the drain.

No . If you want to have a shared storage space create a shared guild bank. Between you and 9 other friends. then the 10 of you can share certain items only... and its 500 spots verses the 360 this will give.
