When you right click on a players name instead of seeing travel to primary residence there should see homes. Right click on homes and you should see a list of available homes to travel to.
When you get there you should be able to sign a guestbook and leave a comment.

1. Public Setting. This would allow you to set a residence to allow anyone who knows your @name to visit that house whether or not they are on your friends list or in one of your guilds.
2. Specific visitor list. This setting would allow you to ONLY allow those you place on the list to have access to your house. Even if someone not on the list were grouped with them, they would be denied access.
3. Get rid of the "primary residence" and allow us to set whatever permissions we want for each individual house we own.

Agreed.
There is a different aspect to this than players simply wanting to show off their decorating skills. Those of us with more than one account would like to be able to have characters on one account be able to access any house on another account rather than being restricted for no good reason to a primary residence.

ZoS promotes and advocates owning multiple homes but really fall short in giving any real incentive to do so.
