Streaking not possible under certain circumstances

So my friends and I found out today that streak is quite bugged since the newest update. We aren't 100% sure, but we think it has to do with trying to streak while 1) rooted (maybe even certain snares?) and 2) through a gap or a narrowed space of some sorts.
2 Situations where it has happened today (multiple times):

1. Resource tower: I tried to streak out of the tower to the resource through the tower entrance while being rooted by a DK. My character was just standing still no matter how many times I pressed the streak button. I could only get out after I rolldodged out of the root and then pressed streak.
2. On the Chalman milegate top floor: Even though the towers are connected on the top floor, I could not streak from one tower to the other. I think I was rooted by a sorc there, although I might have been only heavily snared or so. Hard to tell.

Both this things happened not only to me but also to the other sorcs in my group.
And no, we were not negated.

I hope you guys can fix this fast because it's quite gamebreaking for a sorc to not be able to streak.
