Easter Egg or Bug: Lightning Eyes?

Just discovered that if you heavy attack with a lightning staff, your characters eyes turn pure white. Is this a bug... or are one of the developers a hard core 'Storm' fan from Marvel's Xmen series?

They only stay like that during the cast.
@Stopnaggin the eyes roll back into the head, they do move, it's not a reflection.
EDIT: Additional note, it seems to only do it if you channel without a target.Edited by leothedino on 26 January 2017 20:410
