Memory leak using Aedric Spear?

This was in the normal PS4 with a 1080p tv, regular 500gb hard drive. The console is rather new.
I was playing ESO with my templar and I realized that if I spam the 4th Aedric Spear's skill (blazing spear), the combat starts glitching afterwards, even if I stop using it. All new combat interactions freeze for a second, like if it's a graphical lag spike, even after moving to a different map. I cast wall of elements (lightning) and then the spears. Some people told me that this is a bug related to Wall of Elements.
Could that be memory leak, since it only fixes if I close and reopen the game?
Can anyone replicate that? All I did was spam the spear to kill a few mob groups and then it started lagging in all other combat interactions (even without using the skill).
It is a graphical related issue, not a connection problem.
Current fix I found so far: close and restart the game.
