Wrothgar set items missing traits

I've noticed that the sets dropping in Wrothgar are missing traits. Both armor, but especially weapons, are missing traits. I've been looking for briarheart weapons with the sharpened trait but they do not seem to exist. I've done some research both in-game and outside of the game in databases. Is this intentional or a bug?
