False Death Bug - Winner of Duel "Died" Too and Stayed "Dead"

Short version: My friend's character appeared to be dead, but only on my client, after they won a duel.

My friend and I have somehow managed to confuse Sithis himself.

We decided to have a few duels to test some skills out for PvP. After a few battles, though I lost, my friend's character suddenly went into a death animation and keeled over. I revived myself and tried to revive them, and that didn't work. They looked dead, they had a "yep, this person is dead" marker over them, and the group HUD showed "Dead" instead of their HP. Facing them gave me the option to try reviving them with a grand soul gem, and I had no other way to interact with them. But they were actually alive on their end, and able to move around and play normally. And we still wanted to fight. So they selected me and invited me to duel again.

The first duel, I was laughing so hard from seeing my friend hopping and sliding around while stuck in a "dead" pose that I couldn't fight back properly. I died fast. We tried again, but this time we noticed that I was completely unable to hit their "dead" character unless I used AoEs. It turns out you can't target someone when your end thinks that they're dead, even if their client and the server say otherwise.

So we stopped fighting. My friend realized their stats were looking low and decided to eat something. And I watched as a plate of food appeared next to their foot, lingered a few seconds, and then faded into the Void.... :scream:
