Between 1 and 2 hours into the game I get more and more game stuttering. Pushing on after the 2nd hour the stutters become more and more freeze-lag like lasting up to 3 sec sometimes. Loading times between areas seem to increase aswell. Restarting the game every other hour might not sound like a big issue but the thing is that it doesnt help and this lag/sturret spreads to other games aswell with the only solution being a complete system reboot.

I have already contected support about this a few days ago but no answer yet so any suggestions are appreciated.


Posting some PC specs here from the log created by the Game Consultant tool.
Operating System: Windows 10 Pro 64-bit
Processor: Intel(R) Core(TM) i5-3570K CPU @ 3.40GHz
Memory: 8192MB RAM

    I have done some further testing and while Im waiting for support to get back to me Im gonna share what Ive found out.

    What ESO seem to be doing is blocking off a large section of my RAM from being used regardless of if ESO is running or not. In writing moment Im at 5,1GB of ram usage and according to windows task manager RAM usage never goes above that even though I have 8GB.
    I cought track of the issue due to spikes in usage on my D : storage disk whenever a lag spike occured. After some looking around I found out that windows has allocated an partion of that disk for extra "emergency" RAM.

    Also in writing moment doing a simple thing like opening a youtube vid takes 15-20 sec and during that time my D : disk is at 100% load.

    Sure hope there is a fix for this because I dont rly think getting more RAM would help since this bug could potentialy just eat another bunch of GB's...

    EDIT: Current amount of disk space used as memory states that 12,2GB is used for something....

    Had problems with stuttering & the game freezing after Orsinium was released. The fix that worked for me was to right click the desk top shortcut, compatibility, tick the box for disabling high DPS settings.
    Another option is to delete your user settings text file.
