Due to the complicated nature of ESO’s questing system, Customer Support tools are limited and unable to manipulate all quests. Nor are we able to reset quests that have already been completed. The core design feature of ESO is “choice” requiring you, the player, to make choices in order to play your own way. As a result of that requirement and the complexity of our quests, Customer Support cannot edit past decision points in your quest log.

Below are some troubleshooting steps which typically resolve most questing issues:
Issues with missing, invisible, stuck or un-interactable NPC’s can be often be resolved by leaving the area and then logging completely out of the game for at least 15 minutes to perform a soft reset. This loads your character into a new game instance and refreshes your surroundings, which prompts the NPC to act as intended.
On PC/Mac, you can also try using /reloadui to reset the environment or /stuck which may get you past an objective.
If this doesn’t help and the quest is not a main storyline quest, you may also wish to abandon the quest and restart it.
In the event that the above troubleshooting does not resolve your issue, we recommend moving on from the quest and waiting for a potential fix from the development team. The development team chooses which quests to fix based on overall impact to the player base and we can make no guarantees as to when or if a specific quest bug will be resolved. Keep an eye on our Patch Notes to see when we push new fixes to the game.

On PC/Mac, you can also submit a bug report on the quest by typing /bug into the chat box and filling out a bug report. You will not receive a response however it will provide the development team with more information about the issue.
