Slight problem with Double Bloody Mara

After drinking Double Bloody Mara on my non-vampire character, who has never been a vampire and has always been a Werewolf, the drink gave her a Vampiric appearance and a 4 hour Stage 1 vampirism buff, that pauses when I am offline.
She has no vampire skill line, as shown by the skill screenshot, she has no ability to feed on people, and the only option offered for a cure is for Lycanthropy not Vampirism.

@ZOS_GinaBruno , can my character be fixed or is she forever broken? Edit - She's on PC / NA , character name Nia'h.
I've tried changing skins, polymorphs, Werewolf transform, but nothing has removed the vampire visuals.

HA, so we getting proof how useles this potion is: it drop you from stage 4 right in stage 1, and lock you there for 4 hours, no matter what.
how is that a legendary potion?
btw stats on Bloody mara are WAY WORSE then on crafted blue Cp150 food !!!

btw this effect can actually be usefull to RP circles as "fake vampirism for short time" disguise

Does it give Stage 4 Benefits while looking like Stage 1 (less weakness + more Man/Mer looks)?

I tested that ( sort of ) .. I gave someone else one of the drinks to see if it was something like 'an Easter egg" or something like that, in keeping with the festival, but it did nothing to them at all, except what it's meant to do.

It appears my character just got bugged out, though I don't know why. She's never had anything to do with vampirism.

@BlueViolet Have you tried cancelling the food buff? In your screenshot it's still running.

This is what I was thinking...eat some soup, it's good for the common cold and a mild case of vampirism

That's a different food buff. I tried canceling already, but it didn't do anything. I suspect it's probably tied to the Vampirism buff.
I've only ever had one vampire before, but I don't remember stage 1 ever lasting 4 hours. Is that normal now? I thought stages were only about 30 mins long

Edit - I just logged in to check @FooWasHere 's suggestion and cancel my current food buff, even though it was a level 150 purple food and not a drink, but it did nothing.
Also, the timer on the Stage one Vampirism has re-set to 5 hours and 30 mins

The interesting thing is going to be how you keep yourself from slipping to stage 4. If you can't feed, you have to keep drinking bloody maras...

Quick question, if you are a vampire I can go down again to stage 4 using vamp skills right? I got mildly confused with what people are describing as non vamps

Afaik,

Each vampirism stage lasts 6 hours and stops when you log off (confirmed)
Using a vampire ability reduces your timer in your current stage by 30 minutes, so you'd need to use mist form 12 times to go up a stage.
Feeding brings you down a stage each time.

Is it weird that the potion did that? Yep.
But in the description of the potion, does it mention more often than it should, something about blood being a key ingredient? Yep.

But look at this way. For the next four hours you have an aesthetically pleasing dead little Elf there.

I tried this on 2 characters to see what would happen... on the one that wasn't werewolf it had no effect, but on the one that was it made her a vampire. The one that was a werewolf was also a wood elf and the one that wasn't is a Breton, so race may be an issue but I think it has to do with drinking the Bloody Bloody Mara on a werewolf.

I don't have a non werewolf, wood elf or a non wood elf, werewolf to to test on.

Another fun fact... You can't feed with this condition, so it is not "real" vampirism.

it is supposed to be a way to reduce vampirism stages while you are on trials/dungeons or wihout access to humanoids. If working as inteded it's just fne.

I think I'm confused about how the stages work.

Is stage 1 or stage 4 the "highest" possible stage? I thought you started with stage 1 and then progressed to stage 4 and then had to keep feeding if you wanted to maintain stage 4. I think I might have it backwards.

Stage 4 is the highest, but vampirism in the Elder Scrolls universe works backwards to the way it is usually portrayed. Feeding makes you more human, meaning that you appear less vampiric but also have weaker powers. A vampire that starves itself by choosimg not to feed cannot hide its vampiric nature, but is also much much stronger than one who stays fed.
