Te0zBoovii
Still do not understand why i keep Getting Disconnected from ESO it happens A LOT i mean A LOT i get kicked off like every Hour but that is if i am E.G Fishing or just not doing much, But if i Fight a Group of Enemy/ Dungeon Bosses as soon as we have killed the bosses within 1min i WILL l be kicked to the menu 100% every time i fight a boss. I do not have any issue in Logging in Before you say check this out and close this Discussion. I like this Game a lot and i am at the point were do i get my money back i can not Enjoy this game like others and non of my friends have this issue and some of them are with the Same ISP as me. My Nat is Always Open i reset my Router Regular. and there is no Error Codes at the menu just have a valid internet Connection.

I've been having the same issue and can't figure it out. They told me to port forward so I did and I set up a static ip, I even bought a new router and I still get kicked constantly.

I'm thinking something wasn't fixed all the way from the other week. I'm getting booted too but nothing related to loading screens.
    -PC (PTS)/Xbox One: NewBlacksmurf
    ~<{[50]}>~ looks better than *501
  • Te0zBoovii
@canadianeh1867 yeah i got told to Port-forward But to me it does not work and plus i have not long been with Virgin media and other friends i am online with do not have this problem and they are with the same ISP and they do not really help you with the issue on here we should get some Compensation of some sort because this is ridiculous. The last time i put a post they closed it and sent me to a issues logging in page i do not have a problem logging in its getting kicked off. And i do like this game a lot one of the best games i have played But if it keeps doing this might a swell Contact Microsoft get my money back because this is BS. @NewBlacksmurf i agree.
  • Mailman0105

  • Mailman0105

This has been happening since 8-7-2015 -- still lagging, trouble map traveling - trouble loading, game freezes and crashes! It is Occurring All across the NA server both XB1 and PS4 as well as the EU server..... despite numerous ticket tht I have sent to CS - still no honest response except to reboot router, console check ISP connections, clean cache..... IDK anymore

You should port trigger, not port forward.

Anyway, @Te0zBoovii what Virgin Media hub are you using? SH, SH2, SH2ac?

    SH2

    And that's your problem.

It's caused by the recent firmware upgrade to V2.01.03.

A month ago I was living in a flat with a SH1, and it was working all perfectly fine. When I moved to a new flat, Virgin Media gave me a new modem to go with it, the SH2. Unfortunately, ever since i've moved in, i've had these problems.

    Read this:

    http://community.virginmedia.com/t5/Gaming/Response-from-Elder-Scrolls-Online-re-disconnections-on-Virgin/td-p/2876244

I now have sat in front of me a TP-Link Archer c20i AC750. Same as the 1st post of the 2nd page has that now has no problems. I'll install it tonight, stick the SH2 in to modem mode and I shouldn't have these issues anymore.

My advice if you don't want to spend £35 on a new router (and why would you?) is to call up Virgin Media, explain to them and if possible tell them about the recent ESO/WoW (yes they too are having problems) threads on Virgin Media's customer support forum, and get them to send you the new SH2ac router. Some people have had them send it out and they say it's fixed.

I have been thrown off 6 times in the last hour.

It happens within 5 10 mins of me logging back in, doesn't seem to be any consistency in what I am doing either. Starting to get really tiresome, especially the lack of concern shown by customer support.
I miss my Wife. But my aim is getting better.

I had the same problem 1-5 min and then got kicked out.

Yesterday tho I could play 3 hours without any fuss what soever.
If you havnt tried this then do.
Update the firmware in your router if you are using one. (using a d-link DIR-626L)

I installed the new router last night and stuck the SH2 in to modem mode. I only managed to play for an hour, but I had no disconnects.

Tonight i'll do a longer test to see if it continues.

    Imagine...

Suppose I take the view that I have had enough of this nonsense, unsub, delete ESO & not play again. Suppose I tell others about this on social media sites.

Now, if this IS VM's fault and not ZOS' at all and a whole bunch of subscribers and players did what I supposed above, would it not then become of at least some concern to ZOS about players leaving ESO under the wrong circumstances?

A lot of people are shouting at ZOS to do something about this problem. There is nothing but silence from them. If this is not their problem than maybe you can understand that silence. But if ZOS are losing customers to this problem and they KNOW it is not their fault, would that not become a concern for them? I mean a concern that would waken them up and at least react positively.

Regardless of whose fault this disconnection problem is, it isn't geting better, it isn't going to go away and more and more of us are commenting adversely about it.

The time is coming when the adverse commentary will cease because the players won't be there. They will likely play some other rival company's game and not look back.

    Now there's a concern.

Unfortunately it's happening in other games other than ESO when playing with VM.w

If you look at Blizzard's customer support forum for example where they are brining up the same issue we are, their support team where active in working on what the problems where.

If ZoS could do less than nothing i'm sure they'd try for that. They don't help their customer's in where to turn next at all.

I fully understand - however Im not on VM, Im in Texas on Comcast, not issue with any other online game. I have rebooted everything, cleared cache, even did a fresh brand new install, but I still get long load that at times DC, my Client crashes, and at times it is hard to do battles as skills lag so bad.

I have tried and tried to talk to CS but I keep getting the same response, recycle my router, reboot console, try another ISP, make my router a DMZ zone.
I've gotten to the point it is useless to continue to communicate to the CS tickets as they just keep repeating everything. They tell me not everyone is having the same issues, however when I read the forum, ALOT of us are on both the EU and NA server.

I feel like they got their money, us the player no longer matter, But WE do, Without us Players, There is NO game

I feel your pain, no really I do. My post above is full of "ifs" & "maybes" because I am aware that this outage affects PC players also and not everybody, of course, is with VM. There doesn't seem to be any rhyme or reason to these incessant boots. You can guarantee that they happen, just not when.
