Thugrub's Cave

I've killed Thugrub in Aldmeri Dominion (Grahtwood) three times and the game doesn't recognize that I have - no achievement and the icon is still white on the map.

I mean the icon is still "black" on the map - not white.

... same issue on PS4. I killed him earlier and just found the icon's still black.
It's worth trying again though. I just killed him again, this time it's popped. I made sure he was well inside his cave, previously i'd backed him down the entrance tunnel. It might just be fussy.

I tried that, too, thinking he needed to be near his nest but it still didn't drop. I'll try it again later, that was basically what customer service said to do.
