I am not the best at PVP at all. But I loved the short time I had with it so far.
I lost some stones, I gained some stones, I lost some stones ... They were long fights. Not a quick gankfest.
This DLC makes PVP feel so different and urgent, and Imperial City looks beautiful and horrifying. A stark contrast to my memories of Oblivion.
I shall get back on and fight more later!

I agree, this was my experience as well. I also helped another Alliance in the Arena District with the crazy Daedra arena thing, it was crazy. I went with groups and also spent some time solo. I like a support role and with the small scale combat each person makes a difference.
1v1 happens sometimes and then it sometimes goes crazy with PVE things all caught up - but that adds to it IMO.

Affirmative.
And OP ZOS is currently giggling at the predicament you face, because they have already stated they intended it be a adrenaline pumping gank fest.

They aren't giggling at my predicament, I cancelled my subscription which was active since day one. I guess the thousand or so PvPers can support their servers I quit PvP after Rallos Zek server in EQ and DAoC . I enjoy questing, delves and the odd group dungeon. The first time I am ganked in a normal zone, I will remove the game from my computer.
Everyone calm your jimmies. Orsinium will be here in time for Christmas and you can PVE again.

I think you have missed the point. A large percentage of the complaints have nothing to do with this being a PvP DLC, but the way ZoS have dealt with the non-dungeon PvE elements of it. Frankly they might well have done better leaving PvE elements out of IC completely, but ZoS giggling like juvenile fools when talking about it did not help the situation.

So ... You don't like that you got killed by another player in a PVP focused zone?

Then if I may ask, with all total respect of course, how would you personally have implemented PVE in the piddle of a PVP zone?
It is exactly the same as Cyrodiil normal quests. You have the same threat of being killed doing those as you do in IC.

My impression from reading the hype was it was a combined zone with some pve quests , I was wrong. I had only kept my sub active for the new content. If they are going to make all zones PvP, as someone stated, then I won't play anymore. I guess they figure a thousand players with about a hundred suds is sustainable. I wish them luck.
He was only there because that's the only way to get the items needed for VR16 PVE GEAR!Mighty_oakk wrote: »

He, like many, wants nothing to do with PVP but ZOS are forcing him to endure it if he wants VR16 PVE GEAR!
Capiche?

I rather think you have been misinformed.
Only Cyrodiil is PVP. It will always only be Cyrodiil being PVP.
They are implementing playing with other factions for grouping tools such as the LFG dungeon tool to begin with. But it will not be PVP.

You will be able to get them in Guild Stores soon enough. As well as all pledges and things like that scaling to VR16. Dropping VR16 gear.
